It is done… The Chains are broken

Posted in Blog, Video Games on July 26th, 2007

It is over, undone… addiction perhaps over in the very least. Time is money is usually what they say. However, I’m come to deeper conclusion in my life recently. I’m not happy with the way are going, no one bit. I do not hang out with my friends nearly enough. I have no dating prospects and well, I have no job at the moment. Overall, it just kinda all blah. I’ve started a new diet, I’ve lost over 10 pounds in about a month-ish. I feel I have much more energy now a days since I’ve been taking better care of myself. I guess I’m going for an image change for sorts.

I am most likely going to sell my account but I have not made a final choice on that. I have testing for a job and possible job interview for a data entry position in Clackamas. +11 an hour but it would be 5pm to 2m, overtime required, M-F. However, it would give me an excuse to outfit my bike so I can ride it at night.

I miss school, really I do. I am going to really enjoy my time this year with my classes and my ASPCC student govt. job. I hope my fin aid appeal goes through. I’m going to submit that on Monday. I’ve got a few other things to do on Monday as well.

Been practicing on my ocarina lately. I suck nowadays! :) Hm… that’s about it. Oh yeah! Finished Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows and I thought it was great. I think the ending could have been better but overall I think the Harry Potter series will still always be one of my all time favorites.

The Deathly Hallows

Posted in Blog on July 23rd, 2007

So, today was going to be the day where I get up early and do a bunch of things. However, with a combination of Harry Potter and my recent summer cold as left me to sleep way too late. However, that’s good in a way since I really needed to do laundry today. I’ll try to get that haircut as well if I can. Going to call Bob today so we can hang out tonight and tomorrow. Been talking to my friend Amy alot for the last couple days. Its actually making Myspace useful for once.. omg! rofl.

Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows is great. Becky and I got it on Saturday once the clock hit midnight. It took us about 20 minutes from Midnight to get our book. The whole process at Barnes & Noble was very organized and no violence happened that I know of. :)

So, Wednesday is going to a very busy day for me, Thursday and Friday as well. I won’t be playing World of Warcraft at all this week except here and there on some alts on other servers but not raiding. Oh yeah, my diet is going well, still playing loads of DDR, eating less, protein shakes and such. I can’t wait until I’m under 240, it’ll be the first time in quite a while.

Use your firmware to boot my floppy into hard disk mode. I’m interested in converting my flash drive into a RAM disk. Reboots will be infrequent, but more than one will be requited to complete the installation.

Specs: 35′ 6′, 185lbs, brown/blue, d/d free.

Send your configuration to learn more… and don’t be SCSI. Let’s upgrade soon!

Is this hell?

Posted in Blog, Video Games on July 17th, 2007

So…. I’m down visiting family down in Roseburg. The thing I usually do every six month. Last time I came back with a broken ankle. However, hopefully my luck is much better this time and yes it is a very long story. Yes, my brother Nick threw a hissy fit last night and pretty much ruined most of the late evening. I did play some DDR at the local mall. Ya know, gotta show off for the jailbait since, ya know, not getting much female attention. Rofl, no, no. I kid.

So, I’ve been working on my diet for about a week. That’s right, no regular soda for about a week, diet soda to a mininum, and exercise for at least an half-hour everyday. Not doing this for anybody, just for myself… maybe get a girlfriend.. =P Which of course I really don’t need one at the moment.

*Geek Alert* Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows -> 7/21/07!!! I shall be MIA for a few days after.

Everytime I Post, An Angel Gets Its Wings

Posted in Blog, Craigslist, Video Games on July 12th, 2007

So, after 4 months, yes you read correctly.. 4 months! Christa and I finally hung out. I made contact with her from Craigslist of all places in the Strictly platonic section of women for men. Yes, that’s right, at least 2 people know what platonic means. The world hasn’t ended yet. Basically, things happen that prevented hanging out earlier.
So, anyways, we were supposed go to Wunderland and play some video games (eg: DDR =P) but her door wouldn’t shut properly and no one came to fix it so we just hung out at her place which was cool. Played some Sonic the Hedgehog 2 which is kicked my ass at. However, in turn I kicked her ass Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine. Truthfully, I got the general concept but I don’t know why I did so well.

So, after the video games, we talked for a bit before I left around 11pm ish I think. I took the bus line 9 home and got off at Gresham Transit Center. I discovered that MAX does not run past 11:33 on most nights so I walked +35 block home. However, I needed the walk.

So, I think we’ll be great friends, lots in common. Hopefully it won’t be another 4 months to kick it. However, I know that Craigslist can be the cesspool of humanity.. but good things can happen although rarely.

Went to  get Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix yesterday, it was good, will go into more depth in another post.
