So, today was a pretty uneventful day for the most part. I got up around 10:30 am because Becky got me a Egg McMuffin from McDonald’s. I love them even though they are bad for you. My friend Josh came over to get some stuff and then he head to my other friend’s house, Lonnie. Invited me another friend’s party going on next Saturday on April 14th.

After that, I chatted with little bit with my good friend Summer, and then I hopped off to go play some Dance Dance Revolution. Some of my family came up from Roseburg because my nephew has surgery tomorrow. Tomorrow for me is going to be a busy day of catching up with all my reading homework. I don’t have class this Thursday because of a college in service day.

Things to do

Well folks, you may have not noticed it but the blog has been fully moved over to my new host. I’m waiting for the rest of my domain to move over to the new host so I can make some other changes. Basically, what I did was make a backup of all the tables from database on the old host. In adddition, I made a full backup of the Wordpress install from the old host.

On new host, made a sub-domain for blog.cephiros.com, processed a new wordpress install. This created a new database with a different name. On the old host, made backups of the tables. Went into the configuration panels for new database on the new host. Dropped all the tables and imported the tables from my old database.

That’s that, going with a different program for my gallery and I will start to update that more often.

Just wanted to make a quick post since I just changed to the new name servers over to my new host. If you access my site currently at this time it will still appear normal. In addition, my livejournal crossposter plugin will post this to my livejournal. I’m really nervous about this move because really my blog is the most important thing about my current website and the thing I’ve put the most work into.

I’ve already done a full SQL database backup. In addtion, I’ve done a backup of just my SQL tables. I can already import the backed up tables to the new host’s Wordpress install which made a new database. Unfortunately, I cannot change the SQL database name at this time but hopefully I can change it soon.

So, if you’re wondering what is going on with my blog, this is the reason why. I had Dreamhost for over a year but the problems I had recently and the lack of help made we want to change from them.

Well, I’ve been in an extremely good mood since last night. Someone I’ve talking to on Myspace IM, who has seen my pics said I was hot, and would go out with me. In addition, she says she loves geeky guys, loves younger guys and she is 32 and very beautiful and hot. I got her number. I’m just really amazed since I’m seem to be in a constant battle with self esteem. I know alot of my female friends have told me I look cute, hot and attractive but sometimes its good be validated once in awhile. I’m just really nervous as what to do since I have not dated in the last 4 years and don’t know when I should call her.

Today I had lunch with my young and beautiful friend Joy and we had a nice and long chat. Catching up and such. Weekend has started and the weather was just wonderful today. Becky and I took the dog to the park at Mt. Tabor. My mother will be coming up on Easter Sunday with my nephew for his surgery on Monday. They will be leaving on Tuesday.

So, basically today was not very eventful. I skipped class *gasp*. Mainly there was two reasons why I did this. One was because I did not sleep very well and was not feeling good and the other reason is because my mother and my nephew came to Portland because he had a doctor appointment.

So, while I do love my mother very much she can sometimes get on my nerves. I don’t think we are as close as we used to be because the alternate paths I’ve taken in life. I don’t think she is as open minded as she claims to be. She never really approved of my relationship with Becky when we were still together. I had to tell her over and over the difference between physical sex and gender. Often times she had referred to her as still a guy. I very much feel that thinks of me as the black sheep in the family even though I am going to be the one who is sucessful.

Tomorrow I am going to have lunch with my good friend Joy. I’m pretty excited about that. Going to catch up on all my reading for my new classes. I am also excited that I will be having lunch next Tuesday with my newest friend, Summer []. We’re also going go to shopping for some cute clothes but after our fin. aid is sent out.

So, I have this Nintendo DS game called Trauma Center: Under The Knife. After playing this game for awhile. I have come to realize that I should never attempt to become a surgeon. I have a general antipathy towards my patients. I often miss my marks, cannot suture very well. I could care less with my patients live or die. Simply put, I will and cannot be a good surgeon. Yes, I know its a game but it has taught a very important lesson.

April 3rd was great, Went to both my classes, I think I’m going to like my History of the Holocaust but I am going to dread my public speaking class. After classes, I spent like 45 minutes in the book but I was lucky and I was able to find all my books used and only spent 170 dollars on them. I went to bed early that night after a pleasant chats with both Summer [] and Seumas [].

April 4th was great as well. Read chapter 3 for my History of the Holocaust. Made my “preparation” card for my public speaking course.

Found a really good quote from Confucius. “Success depends upon previous preparation and without such preparation there is sure to be failure.”

Got a call from Christa but I was asleep. I called her back left a message and she called back and told me she called me on accident but we still made plans for Thursday. However, got an email and had to move them back again cause of she has to work which is understandable. Hung out with Seumas [] at the Lloyd Center Mall. Played some In The Groove at the Tilt, I think I spent like 5 buck there. Ate lunch at Subway. Determined that many stores in the Mall, are set off my DS games cases and annoyed some manager at Sears. I Went to Best Buy in Gresham, have a few plates of sushi at Sushiville and went to his house. Watched some Dane Cook, took a shower and got his tax documents so I can do his taxes which I will do later today.

So, today was kinda of lazy but I did produce something fruitful. I logged into my software design class and posted the required introduction. Found out that I have to post at least post a week. I really dislike classes that make me post on the discussion board. They rue the day they make me do this! However, I did finish a couple things from my list made on April 1st. My blog has a RSS feed through Feedburner and I did find a little information about moving my blog to a possible new host. I watched an awesome episode of 24 and I also played an hour of Dance Dance Revolution.

Also had another pleasant chat with my friend Summer : and talked about all kinds of things. Oh yeah, kinda excited about going out as Alicia in about 2 weeks with some friends and we’ll be going out to Embers most likely.

Goals This Week

• Dance Dance Revolution on Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday
• Finish resume and apply for at least 2 jobs
• Get application for PCC Student Government Job
• Possible play 1 Heroic Mode instance in World of Warcraft
• Have a good lunch with my friend Joy
• Clean the living room

So, today was a pretty lazy day. I got up pretty late around 10:30 am and we got dressed and visited our friend Lee in the hospital. I chatted with my friend [Summer : ] a little bit then I decided to head to my bed for a short nap since I didn’t have much energy. I logged on to World of Warcraft and was hoping to raid Karazhan but that did not go as planned since today’s raid was a continuation of this past Tuesday’s raid for both groups. So, I decided to log off and chat with my friend [Summer : ] again and we had a great time. We chatted about various things, shared funny flash and Youtube videos before I decided to call it a night to rot my mind with evil television and video games

After getting bored with that junk, I decided to make some changes on my blog. I added a bunch of various small plugins. Check the sidebar to see the stats for this blog, each post has a view count, added server info to my dashboard, turned off the cephblog-cache plugin, Organized the blogroll into different categories and added more links. Added Becky from Trannywreck as an author just for shits and giggles. There are some plugins I uploaded but did not turn on because I did not want to spend too much time updating them.

Speaking of Youtube, I wanna become a director and make all kinds of stupid videos so the misanthropic scum of Youtube who commentaries show their powerful yet limited vocabulary of idiot, faggot, gay, retarded, stupid, and fuck. Its only a hobby that I would like to pick up and could care less if I get many views, positive comments and anything else other than some cheap personal entertainment.
