Poem Post - Silver Moonlight Tears
Posted in Blog, Hosting, Poetry, Website, Writing on April 9th, 2007Since I moved to a new host, I’ve yet to upload my index file to the main domain along with all my other files I maintained with Dreamhost. So for now, I’m going to repost some of my poems from time to time. Most of the poems were written after a break up a couple years ago and I can admit would be called “emo”.
Silver Moonlight Tears
By
Alexander Roberts
Glowing moonlight surrounds me.
I glance across the lake as the moonlight dances upon it.
Thinking of you as my heart aches.
Shut my eyes in pain, a single tear begins to shed.
The tears of a broken heart, tears of a lost love.
Wonder to myself if somehow I could have changed.
Teardrops of my sorrow begin to fall like the rain.
Flooding the ground with my heartache, pain, and suffering
Am I destined to live life alone?
Silver moonlight tears please go away.
To allow my heart.
To mend its breaks.
Silver moonlight tears evaporate.
Like a lake under the sun in summer’s grace.
Do not dry up my heart like a desert.
Please allow me to love again!
