Sadness and Tragic

Posted in Music, News, Politics on April 17th, 2007

First think I would like to state in my blog before I delve into my personal life is that I feel bad and wish the best for the the families of those who had a family/friend injured or killed in todays Virginia Tech Shooting. It has been stated that this is the deadliest shooting in Modern US history according to this news article. However, I like to state this is very tragic and time is needed for the victims and their friends and family. This horrible event is not and should not be used for 2nd amendment arguments and shouldn’t be used as a political scapegoat for videos game violence and other media. Of course, that’s just my opinion.

Today, I got up late as usually. I really hate this fucked sleeping schedule I have. I really need to get a job. Yesterday, I looked at possible apartments that Seumas and I could move into that would be compromise between him being close to work and off the MAX line and me for somewhat easy access to school. I read the some for Holocaust class and wrote up a one page analysis for the class.

School, Friends, and Busting a Move

Posted in Blog, Music on April 10th, 2007

So today, I got up pretty early because I was having lunch with my friend, Summer . I was a little late because I misjudged the bus schedule and some construction. I was about 15 minutes late or so. I called her while I was on the bus to tell her I was a little late. I think we had a pleasant lunch. I’m always a little nervous when I meet new people either from the internet or not from the internet. Truthfully, I think I talked a little too much and didn’t let her talk much. I probably talked that much because I was nervous.  going to apply for Managing Financial Director and Financial Assistant. I think I would do well with either of those positions. I’m going to email my former ethics teacher to see if I can get a letter of recommendation from her.

After classes, I went to Lloyd Center to get some Jamba Juice and play some In The Groove while I hung out with my friend Seumas . After that I went home and now I am making this post. Talked to a few people on Yahoo Messenger.

Things to do tomorrow

  • Finish resume
  • Renew Oregon ID
  • Hang out with Josh and Bob

I should never become a surgeon!

Posted in Blog, Music on April 5th, 2007

So, I have this Nintendo DS game called Trauma Center: Under The Knife. After playing this game for awhile. I have come to realize that I should never attempt to become a surgeon. I have a general antipathy towards my patients. I often miss my marks, cannot suture very well. I could care less with my patients live or die. Simply put, I will and cannot be a good surgeon. Yes, I know its a game but it has taught a very important lesson.

April 3rd was great, Went to both my classes, I think I’m going to like my History of the Holocaust but I am going to dread my public speaking class. After classes, I spent like 45 minutes in the book but I was lucky and I was able to find all my books used and only spent 170 dollars on them. I went to bed early that night after a pleasant chats with both Summer [] and Seumas [].

April 4th was great as well. Read chapter 3 for my History of the Holocaust. Made my “preparation” card for my public speaking course.

Found a really good quote from Confucius. “Success depends upon previous preparation and without such preparation there is sure to be failure.”

Got a call from Christa but I was asleep. I called her back left a message and she called back and told me she called me on accident but we still made plans for Thursday. However, got an email and had to move them back again cause of she has to work which is understandable. Hung out with Seumas [] at the Lloyd Center Mall. Played some In The Groove at the Tilt, I think I spent like 5 buck there. Ate lunch at Subway. Determined that many stores in the Mall, are set off my DS games cases and annoyed some manager at Sears. I Went to Best Buy in Gresham, have a few plates of sushi at Sushiville and went to his house. Watched some Dane Cook, took a shower and got his tax documents so I can do his taxes which I will do later today.

Overheard Conversations - My New love and Spring Term Starting

Posted in Blog, Music on April 3rd, 2007

So We Watched TV — That Was Okay, Actually
Guy #1: So she told me that she wants to make out more.
Guy #2: Huh?
Guy #1: She wants to sit and make out but not have sex.
Guy #2: Why bother making out if it isn’t going to end in sex?
Guy #1: That’s what I said.

So, today was kinda of lazy but I did produce something fruitful. I logged into my software design class and posted the required introduction. Found out that I have to post at least post a week. I really dislike classes that make me post on the discussion board. They rue the day they make me do this! However, I did finish a couple things from my list made on April 1st. My blog has a RSS feed through Feedburner and I did find a little information about moving my blog to a possible new host. I watched an awesome episode of 24 and I also played an hour of Dance Dance Revolution.

Also had another pleasant chat with my friend Summer : and talked about all kinds of things. Oh yeah, kinda excited about going out as Alicia in about 2 weeks with some friends and we’ll be going out to Embers most likely.

Goals This Week

  • Dance Dance Revolution on Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday
  • Finish resume and apply for at least 2 jobs
  • Get application for PCC Student Government Job
  • Possible play 1 Heroic Mode instance in World of Warcraft
  • Have a good lunch with my friend Joy
  • Clean the living room

Suddenly, I’m a blog whore.

Posted in Blog, Music on March 30th, 2007

So, for a post that is not related to my daily postings of the worst of Craigslist and best Youtube video. In addition, when I’m not making poorly made jokes about various that no one but myself finds funny. I shall actually post. So today, I decided to head over to the Century 16. Played DDR with [: Salemkitty] and [: Taxus] and played some Dance Dance Revolution: Supernova and I mostly busted out the doubles and totally kicked ass. Went to Baja Fresh for lunch and had some good. Took the MAX back to Salem’s house to watch some tv, get cleaned up and pack his computer so he could play World of Warcraft at my house.

In fact, I’m actually going to play World of Warcraft for the first time in 3 weeks really. We’re going to try and defeat the first boss in Gruul’s Lair and if we get the first boss down we might get a crack at Gruul. I’m quite surprised that my addiction to World of Warcraft hasn’t brought me back. I guess I really am burnt out and really wanting to change my life, lose some weight and hopefully get laid! Oh, that’s all for this regular post.

Damn, Took me long enough!

Posted in Blog, Music on October 20th, 2006

You are probably wondering where I went for all that time. School has started and it is going well. I like all my classes except of CIS120. It seems like nothing but class that says it is advanced but really is the building blocks of computers. I like my Access class even though that is not the best DBMS.

I’ve pretty much quit/got fired from my job by doing a no call, no show for the last 4 days. I’m pretty sure that I am no longer employed with ACS. Not that I really cared that much since I was so tired of that job! I’ve bee doing pretty well with my World of Warcraft guild. We went back to Black Wing Lair last friday and we killed Razorgore after a few attempts and we did 3 really good attempts on Vael.

I’ve met a really nice girl on World of Warcraft, she is a priest like me and I think we get along great. I mean there are some barriers to it ever being formulated in reality but I enjoy the time I spend with her and I hope she does too.

Not much to say right now, gotta get to bed soon. Gotta take Aeris to the groomer and I have one assignment I will do before 4pm for our Onyxia and BWL raids.

Not much else to say,

Alexander/Cephiros
