Poem Post - The Marionette
The Marionette
By Alexander Roberts
You lurk behind every shadow.
Controlling my every move, every action.
You are my puppeteer and I, your willful puppet.
Such a sadistic master you are, enjoying my pain.
Wrenching me around uncontrollably.
As you pull forcefully on my strings.
Someday and somehow.
I will break free, soon you will see.
Of the restrictive strings that bind me.
I will be free from your control.
Free from these puppet bindings.
Free to live my live on my own.
Lining my life free from your sadistic control of me.

The poem is deep. It’s about freedom right? One of the things I cherish most, and that most people take for granted, is my individual freedom. I tend to get moody when people tell me what to do. I like to do things when I want how I want. Drop by sometime. Peaze!

You would be correct, I wrote this in highschool and it was about a certain family member.
