Just another day
So, basically today was not very eventful. I skipped class *gasp*. Mainly there was two reasons why I did this. One was because I did not sleep very well and was not feeling good and the other reason is because my mother and my nephew came to Portland because he had a doctor appointment.
So, while I do love my mother very much she can sometimes get on my nerves. I don’t think we are as close as we used to be because the alternate paths I’ve taken in life. I don’t think she is as open minded as she claims to be. She never really approved of my relationship with Becky when we were still together. I had to tell her over and over the difference between physical sex and gender. Often times she had referred to her as still a guy. I very much feel that thinks of me as the black sheep in the family even though I am going to be the one who is sucessful.
Tomorrow I am going to have lunch with my good friend Joy. I’m pretty excited about that. Going to catch up on all my reading for my new classes. I am also excited that I will be having lunch next Tuesday with my newest friend, Summer [
